Record producers
CAPIF SGC is the only collective management organisation authorised by the DNDA (National Copyright Directorate) to represent record producers in the collection of their rights.

Granting a mandate and declaring repertoire
Under the new regulations in force, from 1 March 2026 CAPIF SGC may only represent, for the collection and management of their rights, those rightsholders who grant the organisation an express mandate of representation. To grant the mandate, go to the GIT platform:

Granting the mandate is not compulsory, but it is an essential requirement for CAPIF SGC to continue representing record producers and/or performers before third parties in the collection and management of their rights, under the new regulations already in force (Decrees 138/25 and 143/25).
Distribution and statements
Collections are distributed among rightsholders with a mandate in force according to the actual use of each recording, under the distribution rules. Distribution is based on actual use: radio and TV monitoring, licensees' usage reports and platform reports.
- Administration costs authorised by the rules are deducted.
- The net amount is allocated to each recording and performance according to its share of use.
- Each rightsholder receives an itemised statement by recording, performance and source.
- Payment is credited to the bank account declared in GIT.
Rightsholder portal: GIT
The management platform where rightsholders grant their mandate, declare and update their repertoire and view their statements. It is external to this site and requires a username and password; new rightsholders create their account from the portal itself.
