Mandate of representation

From 1 March 2026, CAPIF SGC may only represent, for the collection and management of their rights, those rightsholders who grant the organisation an express mandate of representation.

To grant the mandate, contact us by email at interpretes@capif.org.ar. The model mandate is available below.

The mandate will soon also be available on the performers portal.

Distribution and statements

Collections are distributed among rightsholders with a mandate in force according to the actual use of each recording, under the distribution rules. Distribution is based on actual use: radio and TV monitoring, licensees' usage reports and platform reports.

  • Administration costs authorised by the rules are deducted.
  • The net amount is allocated to each recording and performance according to its share of use.
  • Each rightsholder receives an itemised statement by recording, performance and source.
  • Payment is credited to the bank account declared in GIT.
